DRAINPIPES REHABILITATION AT THE “CASTELLO SVEVO DI TRANI” WITH NO-DIG TECHNOLOGY

The intervention was performed with CIPP (Cured in Palace Pipe) relining technology on two drainpipes located on the terrace of the Castle of Trani.

The drainpipes were restored along their entire length using the visible exits in a well for the north side drainpipe and in the courtyard for the west side one.

Both drainpipes had incisions and steel rivets that caused abundant infiltration in the inner walls of the castle.

The rehabilitation was preceded by the removal of the pipe union on each entrance.

For the intervention was used a membrane consisting of a 3,5 mm thick polyester fabric coated on one side with a 200 micron polyurethane film, impregnated with epoxy resin.

At the end of the work the video inspection confirmed the perfect success of the rehabilitation.
